As Marketing Communications Lead you will play a critical role supporting the development and delivery of internal and external communications initiatives to enhance brand awareness and engagement. Working closely with colleagues across marketing, sales, product teams, and other departments, the role ensures consistent messaging, supports the execution of communication campaigns, and contributes to wider business objectives, while assisting in the professional development of the marketing communications function.
You will be responsible for the professional growth and mentorship of the Marketing Communications Team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, developing capabilities, and guiding team members to achieve their full potential.
What you'll be doing:
- Support the development and delivery of internal and external communications initiatives to drive brand consistency and visibility.
- Assist in leading marketing communication projects including product launches, company events, and brand awareness campaigns.
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of marketing collateral including newsletters, social media content, videos, PR materials, case studies, and catalogues.
- Ensure consistency and high standards in messaging across all communication channels.
- Mentor and provide support to colleagues within the Marketing Communications team.
- Coordinate communication activities with CMP&©s overseas offices to ensure alignment.
- Support the delivery of internal communication activities, including newsletters, noticeboards, Culture Champions initiatives, and events.
- Monitor and report on the performance of communications campaigns and suggest improvements.
- Maintain CMP&©s brand integrity across internal and external communications.
- Support the effective use of digital tools (e.g., websites, CMS, SEO optimisation) for communication purposes.
- Stay informed of industry best practices and assist in enhancing communication methods.
- Mentor and support the Marketing Communications Team, providing regular feedback, identifying development opportunities, and encouraging knowledge-sharing and innovation.
- Lead regular team meetings and 1:1s to ensure alignment, clear communication, and professional development.
We ask that you are a marketing professional with extensive experience in marketing communications and brand management. You will have exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, and be proficient in both Microsoft Office and Adobe Cloud suites. Knowledge of SEO, PPC, and CMS platforms is essential, alongside strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. You will have a keen attention to detail, a creative approach to problem-solving, and a solid understanding of market sector opportunities and challenges. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to think strategically and demonstrate self-awareness. Experience in mentoring or developing team members would be highly desirable.
